The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) has announced the final winning teams in the Collegiate Track of the American-Made Community Energy Innovation Prize. In the IMPACT Phase of the prize, the three winning student-led teams demonstrated how their projects brought the benefits of clean energy to underserved communities with measurable impacts. The teams' community partners were awarded a total of $100,000 for the IMPACT phase, bringing the total prize money awarded to $235,000 across all the teams over the course of the Collegiate competition.
